Unimaginable beauty in the sunrise
Celestial high tech
If only you knew the secret
A grand finale on deck
—
No worries about being late
The smoldering evening sky
Life has no more tomorrows
Time is in short supply
—
The earth is no longer flat
It curled up and resigned
So much unfinished business
Because of the walking blind
—
What would you grab?
Seconds instead of years
If the alarm sounded
Hidden in your deepest fears
—
The Grim Reaper travels lite
He never overstays
Appointments booked in advance
Arriving even on holidays
—
No tomorrow, no breakfast
No more battles over menu
Little irritants don’t matter
Eternity moves to another venu
